Unnatural Histories XII at Antler Gallery

Triple-Terrier Goose will be part of the group exhibition Unnatural Histories XII at Antler Gallery in Portland. Works in this show all depict mythical creatures  inspired/influenced by more traditional natural history. I've created a child of Cerberus, the three-headed dog that guards Hell, and the goddess Hera, whose sacred animal is the goose. In my imagination, this creature would be a wonderful guard for a farm, with the aggressive temperament of a goose, many heads to look around, and a loud honking-bark to alert everyone about intruders. The show opens on October 26 and runs through mid-November 2023.
