Opening tonight, February 10, 7-10 pm, I'll have several works in Natural 20, a collaboration between Austin's ICOSA art collective and artist-run spaces Tiger Strikes Asteroid Los Angeles and Monte Vista Projects at the Bendix building in downtown LA.
At this time last week I had no idea that I would have work in this show. In a terrible turn of events, all the artwork shipped to LA from Austin was stolen (story here). As they say, the show must go on, so ICOSA has hand-carried work from Austin, and artist friends from Austin now living in LA were asked to bring in work. This has been a true community effort - come out and see! Through March 4. More details here.
Happy New Year! I've got a few pieces (including the one shown below) in Fresh Start, opening this Sunday, January 14 from 4-7 pm at LAVA Projects. There's 29 LA artists in this show and Gas Dot Gallery will be parked outside. Artist list and info here. Come out and see!
I'll have some new and some classic works in group shows at three venues through June and July in Los Angeles and Orange County. See all the details below! ____________________________________________________________________________________________
